ABOUT ME

I'M MELISSA!

If you’ve ever felt like your life was meant for more,

If you’ve ever felt a love awaken something inside you that you couldn’t explain,

If you’ve ever felt like your path is both sacred and deeply challenging at the same time,

You’re not alone!

Because I’ve lived that too.

A Knowing I Carried Since Childhood

For as long as I can remember, there has been a quiet knowing inside of me.

A sense that I was meant for something more.

It first showed up when I was a child—sitting on the floor playing, having full conversations with God about the life I could feel in my heart but couldn’t yet see in my reality.

Even then, I knew I was meant for:

  • deep, soul-level love
  • meaningful service to others
  • entrepreneurship
  • a life that felt expansive, not small

But I was also raised in an environment shaped by scarcity, emotional suppression, and survival patterns.

And like many, I learned early on that being myself wasn’t always safe.

My sensitivity, intuition, imagination, and ability to feel deeply were often misunderstood.

So I began to quiet those parts of me.

Not because they were wrong—but because I didn’t yet know they were gifts.

But the knowing never left.

The Search for Love,  Meaning & Self

As I got older, I tried to build a life that made sense on the outside.

I followed the paths I was told would create stability. I worked hard. I tried to do everything right.

And yet something still felt missing.

At the same time, I was searching for love—not just connection, but a deep soul recognition I couldn’t explain.

But the relationships I experienced reflected my unhealed patterns, my emotional wounds, and my attachment dynamics.

And over time, I began to realize something important:

I wasn’t just searching for love outside of me.
I was being guided back to myself.

The Moment Everything Shifted

In 2016, I moved to Cabo San Lucas during a season of deep uncertainty in my life.

At the time, I didn’t fully realize it—but that move would become the beginning of my spiritual awakening.

What started as an external change quickly became an internal unraveling.

For the first time, I was removed from everything familiar:

  • the routines
  • the distractions
  • the survival patterns
  • and the identity I had spent years trying to maintain

And underneath all of it, I began hearing myself more clearly.

There were moments where I questioned everything.

Moments where I wanted to give up and return to the life I had known because the unknown felt overwhelming.

I remember sitting on the beach one day asking God: "If I’m not meant to go back home, then why am I here?”

What I didn’t realize at the time was that life was preparing me for a deeper awakening than I could have imagined.

Shortly after, something unexpected happened.

A simple connection led to a meeting and the moment I sat across from him, something in me recognized something familiar.

It didn’t feel new.
It felt known.

That connection became a catalyst.

Not just for love or relationship awakening—but for my spiritual awakening, emotional healing, and the unraveling of who I thought I was.

It opened the door to a much deeper journey inward.

The Experience That Cracked Me Open

When that connection ended, I was brought face-to-face with myself.

My patterns. My wounds. My emotional survival strategies.
The ways I had abandoned myself without realizing it.

It wasn’t just about loss.

It was about revelation.

Over time, what unfolded became a deep inner awakening—one that revealed how much of my life had been shaped by unconscious patterns, unhealed emotions, and inherited beliefs.

And slowly, I began the process of returning to myself.

My Soul Chose the Long Way

One thing I’ve come to understand deeply about my journey is this:

My soul doesn’t take shortcuts.

It takes the long way.

Not because it is harder—but because it is more complete.

Every experience, every relationship, every collapse and awakening became part of a deeper initiation into understanding myself, human emotion, consciousness, and healing.

And over time, those lived experiences became wisdom.

Wisdom I now use to support other women walking their own path of awakening and inner return.

The Wholistic Being Was Born From That Return

The Wholistic Being was created from everything I lived, learned, and integrated.

Not as a brand built from strategy—but as a space built from embodiment.

A space for women to return to themselves in a deeper, more integrated way.

Through:

  • emotional awareness
  • shadow work and inner healing
  • nervous system understanding
  • embodiment and energetic alignment
  • conscious relationship awakening
  • and spiritual self-discovery

Because I believe healing is not about becoming someone new.

It is about remembering who you are underneath everything you’ve carried.

Why This Work Exists

This work exists for the woman who is waking up.

The woman who is questioning everything.
The woman who feels deeply, loves deeply, and is no longer able to ignore her inner world.

Whether through spiritual awakening, emotional healing, or relational transformation,

You are being guided back home to yourself.

And you don’t have to do it alone.

An Invitation

Your journey isn’t random.
Your awakening isn’t accidental.

And the parts of your life that feel like they are falling apart…

May actually be the beginning of you coming together.

Welcome to The Wholistic Being.

A space for your return.
